Privacy Policy
This page explains what data is collected when you visit pulsedigitalcy.com and when you contact us. The short answer: as little as possible, and nothing statistics-related without your explicit consent.
Who we are
Pulse Digital is a sole trader providing website development, SEO and Google Business Profile management, based in Cyprus. For anything concerning your data: info@pulsedigitalcy.com.
Google Analytics (consent-gated)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many visitors the site gets and which pages interest them, through Google's official consent mechanism (Consent Mode). The script is present on every page, but runs in a "denied" state by default: it sets no cookies and sends no identifying data until you click "Accept" on the banner shown on your first visit. If you click "Decline" or ignore the banner, it stays in that state.
Once you consent, Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) to anonymously distinguish your visits. See the Cookie Policy for details, and you can change your choice at any time from there.
What we do NOT do
- We do not use ad networks, tracking pixels or retargeting.
- We do not load fonts from external providers, everything is served from the same host.
- We do not sell or share data with third parties for commercial purposes.
- There is no contact form storing data in a database.
What is stored in your browser
One small localStorage value that remembers your cookie choice (accept/decline), so we don't ask again on every visit. If you accept, the Google Analytics cookies mentioned above are also set. If you decline or ignore the banner, nothing else is stored.
Data you send us
When you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we receive whatever you choose to send: typically a name, a contact detail and information about your business.
We use it solely to answer your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to deliver the service. Legal basis: performance of a contract, or the legitimate interest of replying to a commercial enquiry (GDPR Article 6).
Correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation is active and, where a partnership follows, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. You may request deletion at any time.
Note: email and WhatsApp are third-party services (Google and Meta respectively) and are subject to their own privacy policies. If you would prefer another channel, tell us.
Hosting and server logs
The hosting provider may record technical logs (IP, request time, user agent) for security and operations. We do not access these for marketing purposes and do not combine them with any other data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding your data.
To exercise any of these, email info@pulsedigitalcy.com. We reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add a tool that collects data, this page is updated before that tool goes live, with a new date at the bottom.
